Ugh. Girlfriend is teething and will not go to sleep in her own bed. She is usually fine at night but this is torture.

Cute but OP's are way cuter b/c not posed - her DC (Dear Cat) and LO have sought each other out and done their own cuddling.

OP, did you put eye shadow on DD? Laura Mercier Rose Gold?

I don't even have time to put eye shadow on myself! I guess it's just natural. I remember being in a high school play and the makeup person was running around and said "good, you're already done," and I had no idea what she was talking about. She thought I was already wearing lavender eye shadow (I had never worn makeup before that night). So maybe it's the same phenomenon.

I guess the DCUM-worthy response would be "yeah, right after I waxed her eyebrows."

OH.MY.GOODNESS @ those pictures!!! Clearly they are posed, but who cares? Soooooo unbelievably cute! Puppies + a newborn though . . . what were they thinking?

Thank you (and everyone else!) for the kind words. 13 pages and no one has called my kid ugly. Amazing!

OP my friend just lost her child last night due to SIDS. Please check the guidelines. No mother should go through what my friend is going through. Your baby is so gorgeous. Please be safe.

That is horrible and my worst nightmare. What happened? I am so sorry for your friend.

I am well aware of the guidelines. My daughter has been teething, and since I started this thread she has pretty much only taken naps in my own bed with me watching. Crib isn't even an option.

We're not sure yet. She's not answering messages or receiving visitors.

We co-sleep with both kids and I'm a strict follower of the guidelines to avoid SIDS and suffocation. Seeing all that stuff around your baby plus your pet gave me chills.

Wishing you all the best.

Did you notice the adult standing over her with a camera and flash?

You co-sleep with your husband in the bed? Isn't that strictly against SIDS guidelines? I thought it was breastfeeding mom and baby only in order to be safe.

FWIW, the child is never left alone to nap with the cat or with blankets/pillows/stuffed animals, and at night she is alone in her crib, also without blankets, pillows, lovies, cat, etc.
