Would You Be Upset if We Take Our Three Year Old With Us to Dinner Tonight for New Years Eve?

Does Ruth's Chris even have toddler chairs? I've never seen them at the R.C. in Tysons. Same with Morton's. And Fleming's. But then I've never seen a child in any of those restaurants either.

Didn't even bother reading past the 1st page. Who cares...your kid, your night. If the restaurant didn't want kids at that time, then they would've made it clear. Hope you had fun!

Quite the contrary. This is DCUM at its best. When you get 10+ pages where 98% of posters are in agreement and potentially organizing, you've got a classic winner. I have never laughed so hard.

Happy New Year 2013 to DCUM!!!

I agree, one of the unintentionally funniest threads I've read in awhile on here! HNY's everybody!

PS-anyone have a problem if I bring my six month old twins to the Led Zeppelin reunion? Is this wrong?

What the hell is a toddler chair? A high chair? My kid always sat in somebody's lap as a baby, then whatever seating restaurants provide. No high chairs, no boosters.

Of course they do. They have a children's menu too. We've been taking my daughter there since she was an infant, it's a steakhouse not the most fancy place on earth. I've ALWAYS seen kids in the downtown one.

Didn't read past first page but in the past I know I have seen ads for restaurants etc that will specify adults only at their NYE events... But guess not Ruth Chris. After OP though maybe they will start?

That was my thought as well. But they have high chairs. Almost everywhere has highchairs, if they don't, you know kids aren't wanted.

The moment is gone, it's over folks. Goodbye OP. See you next NYE when you post with your new restaurant dilemma.

You all are a bunch of pathetic souls. What a way to spend new years, attacking someone who wants to make a night of it. I wouldnt have come to get approval or disapproval in the first place because nobody elses opinion matters really

I think a bored nursing mom/teenager/college student home from school/nanny posted this thread because she knew it would drive everyone crazy. I think she did it as a special treat to DCUMers to end the New Year. On my behalf I say "thank you" to the troll for the entertaining pages. Meanwhile I still want to go to either the Led Zeppelin reunion or the Inn at Little Washington next year. Please post when you have it organized.
