I'm dying to know where you get your news if you think people who pay $400K+ in federal taxes earn over $4M. Try a quarter of that: $1M earned, $400K in taxes. I'd say it's more than fair share.

If your AGI is $1 million, and your federal tax bill is $400K (or 40% when the top federal tax rate is 28%), then you need to find a new accountant that doesn't steal from you.
