I’m awake now and stand corrected

I love all of these ladies but it was not a great bit and they are missing the blond one from the Goldbergs (forgive me I am blanking her name!) who is the funniest imo. What a night for Maya R. with her dh getting so many Oscars! |
PP here and I just saw this while I was finding the photo! Classic. Although it makes me wonder how far in advance all this stuff is planned. I would move my neck lift to next week if I knew I was going to present at the Oscars. |
Hmm I don't know, if I was feeling bad enough about how my neck looks to schedule a neck lift, I probably would not want the last thing I did before the surgery to be the internationally broadcast Oscar awards in a bit designed to produce lots of photos for the internet to circulate. Wishing Wendy well. |
Heidi Klum wore something normal for once! This is actually great.

It's okay. It's not bandage tight AND short AND cleavage-y so it's a step in the right direction for her. But the styling with the layered choker that matches the beading on the dress is cheesy to me, and it's one of those nude dresses where it looks like you can sort of see the shadow of her undergarments, which I hate. I would love it so much more if the dress was an actual color instead of flesh toned, and if the necklace wasn't so matchy matchy. As Michael would say, the taste level just isn't there. |
Gorgeous on Mikie Madison. The strap thing would be annoying but it’s interesting without being weird.
|
And she thinks she looks good in this?
|
I love this and thought it looked even better on stage -- the red velvet compliments her coloring so well. |
Ewww! I also thought it was boring from the front, but I really dislike it from the side. |
Also beautiful and interesting without being weird: Kate Hudson
|
I guess she needs easy access to stick those quartz eggs up there? |
The necklace is also a really unusual choice and perfect with the dress. |
Teyana Taylor bums me out a bit because this would have been so much better without the sheer midriff. Similar to Anne Hathaway, too much stuff, take something off (in Hathaway’s case, sub the huge earrings for smaller ones and/or ditch the gloves)

A better photo of Zendaya's dress. I just want to compare and contrast with Gwyneth's dress. They are actually similar levels of revealing, because while Gwyneth's has the hip fully visible instead of covered, Zendaya's has more side boob and it' visible skin instead of illusion netting.
But Zendaya's is so much sexier and prettier specifically because it's selective in what it covers up and hides. And in this jersey fabric, it just flowed and moved with her even though the bodice was obviously extremely tailored and then taped into place. It's seductive without feeling naked, whereas Gwyneth's dress is naked without feeling seductive. This winds up looking made for her and comfortable, whereas Gwyneth's dress looked awkward and like it was a joke.
