He sells status watches? What does that mean? Is he at a jewelry counter or involved in some other way? His family members were all immaculately dressed and groomed. His house and the pristine classic car and the decor and everything was too perfect. I'd be afraid of spilling something. I got the vibes that the whole family is that way.

He has a business he co-founded with a friend. Maybe that's why he went on the show, promotion. No way does he stay with Anni--she doesn't remotely fit his life goals or aesthetic.

I rewatched when Anton meets Ani for he first time. As he walked back to his side and while Ani stood looking at him all happy, they show him immediately grabbing the champagne bottle, topping off his glass and drinking, never looking back once at her. Telling.

Their last fight (that I saw anyway) is a little microcosm of how it can be hard to marry across socioeconomic levels. He is just getting through the day, trying to support his child. She has achieved enough to look forward to fun vacations and diversions.

I think she may be too superficial or selfish (Sparkle Megan?) to rise to the challenge.

I think no one gets married.

This is by far the worst season. I think they are having trouble getting people to sign up, Joe said on a podcast that he was approached to be on the show.

I know this isn't dramatic enough for television, but it would be cool if people could just meet in the pods and develop connections and then ... date like they would in the real world without the pressure of getting married and living together. I was thinking that when I was in my 20s it would be been a really interesting way to meet people.

I find it a little ridiculous that someone with a child would go on a show like this and potentially marry a woman who they actually barely know and have that person around their child possibly permanently.
