Another SR recruit!

SR and SSSAS coaches work hard for their girls. Other ISL coaches aren't proactively marketing their players and Capital only helps slightly.

How many voodoo dolls have you made of Capital personnel tonight?

A better question: Who else would have a reason to promote SR (and throw a diversionary bone to SSSAS) to make people think those coaches were the ones responsible for getting Capital players committed - but not the club itself? Would a recruiting director of, say, a wannabe Capital rival have a motivation to make such a statement??

Being able to afford the tuition at Georgetown (65,000 a year) and Harvard (60,000 a year) significantly shrinks the pool of available athletes.

No, dumbass, she is bot the head coach. The head coach is Caitlyn Phipps. Alice is the assistant coach.

Hey bot - so she’s an assistant coach and former Capital coach. Point still made, and you still sound like a moron.

OK whatever so she's an assistant coach. Does that really make me a "moron" (definition: person with low intelligence)?? The point is that Capital has an advantage with one excellent university. Based on my own experience with Capital the girls do all of the work to get themselves recruited. There is little to no help from the recruiting director or coaches. If a college coach calls the recruiting director they will hopefully say positive things. A coach might call the recruiting director to say they have some interest and the director passed that message along via text. Based on what I have witnessed through my own daughter's recruiting journey and heard from teammate's parents nobody from Capital is out there proactively lobbying for the player. The players have to do that for themselves.

This is spot on. Most of these kids come from wealthy families, attend top private high schools and get good grades. Lacrosse/any sport gives them the slight advantage over other candidates. Capital does very little other than provide some name recognition in lacrosse circles. That is fleeting though, other clubs are producing much better players.
Agreed.

Yawn. You have a small army saying the opposite all year. Getting testimonials generally seems more convincing, even as it's anecdotal.

I don’t see a denial here so we’ll accept the premise of the PP is correct. You make no sense but that’s ok because your comments here carry no weight. The “army” you speak of is represented by the dozens of girls Cap has sent to play at incredible programs who have attended neither SR nor SSSAS. Sorry to burst your bubble but you don’t have as much sway in this sport as you think you do.

Plus fees…$90k…why shy away from your argument?

WTF.are you on about? The mask is slipping. My guess is it's a half dozen or so Cap employees or hangers on. The funny thing is anyone that believes a college coach is going to risk their livelihood on a club team's representative/owner's agenda. That's flat hilarious, but I must say that anyone that's naive to believe that they do deserves what they get.

Well results matter which Capital continues to produce year after year. Cap 27s already have recruits to Georgetown and Harvard and it’s only 9/6. I’m honestly worried you may need professional help to get you through the announcements yet to come. What’s funny is
you think families will take the word of you, an anonymous poster, over years of proven recruiting success. Hold your breath, buddy. Things are about to get real bumpy for you.
Anonymous
I am a Capital parent and wish the girls nothing but success. However I agree that the brand helps….nobody else but the family….the RC coaches etc pretty much just watch it happen and are there for a chat every now and again
Anonymous
lol if you were really with Capital you’d know there is only one RC, not multiple “RC coaches.” If you’re going to misrepresent yourself, please at least make an attempt to be somewhat, marginally, believable.
