Mom and dad overheard or saw and mom took the kids to the car. Killer tried to claim it was all a misunderstanding. There's no cell phone service , but dad tries to take a pic saying he'll see what the police have to say about it.

Killer panics. If dad reports it, he's not getting that teaching job. He stabs him in a panic to avoid being photographed and reported to police.

Wasn’t dressed for running and had several bags with him.

Very much the longer type and described by former students' parents as distant, cold, and not very communicative.

Creepy looking white dude in his late 20s with close set eyes.

James Andrew McGann, 28, was arrested on Wednesday in Springdale, Ark.

So what's his back story, is it mental illness and/or un/authorized weapons? Can't keep up America

I haven't seen any details at this point.

Victims were stabbed.

Unless you’re working the case, you don’t know that.

He stabbed them.

Andrew McGann grew up in Chicago. It's very concerning to hear a parent describe his behavior in her son's classroom..

I completely agree.

Not at all. Many murderers are very social and charming. Don’t perpetuate stereotypes.

My heart is breaking for this family and these kids. To have witnessed this and lost both their parents. No words.

I don’t understand where the Mom took the kids before going back to try to help her husband?
