If you live in NOVA and send your kids to private why?

Our child's homework is primarily written as are tests rather than leaning in on using the laptops to teach.

Smaller student body means greater opportunities to make sports teams, take on leadership roles in clubs, get parts in plays and musicals. Basically, more opportunities per student versus at much larger schools. Even if academics are on par with surrounding publics, the overall environment is better in our opinion.

I believe more than one are doing this, and the law would be the new model policy on transgender students most likely, which does stem from a law but is not a law in and of itself.

Could also be a reference to last night’s FCPS school board meeting that voted to allow high school students to use phones throughout lunch despite the VA bell to bell cell phone ban. One school board member who voted against allowing phones at lunch posted about it this morning.

I would say the main factors for me
- more like minded people (Christian and conservative)
- small class size
- ability to play any sport they want because we are at a smaller school
- uniforms are amazing
- community environment
- K-12 so all siblings go to school together (easier to manage and makes my kids closer)
