This is no different than what McDaniel is accused of, yet he is still on our SB in charge of a budget of over U$ 4B, while the Board just announced an increase on the FCPS budget. How is this possible???

If it were a state prosecution, it would likely be in Loudoun, where the aviation company was based.

Massachusetts is a Democratic state, but a local federal prosecutor brought a corruption/embezzlement case against a local Democratic politician there (see above).

People want him to resign regardless of whether he's also charged criminally. His continued presence on the School Board is an embarrassment and a distraction.

I'm not sure it's so much about the overall party affiliation as the way our state/local branches of those parties are run. At least in Fairfax County both parties seem very cliquey and "I don't care what my guy did wrong, your guy is terrible!"

Functioning parties would be great for our area, but we don't have them. I get the sense much of New England does.

Predictable circling around the wagons. McDaniel is a putative Democrat, and at least for now he's pledged his loyalty to Karl Frisch's radical agenda and blatant waste. In return, he's allowed to stay on the School Board despite credible allegations of embezzlement.
