Yea, that wouldn't make sense since the office is concerned with reducing the backlog. Keep everybody who can examine regardless of if they can do a good job.

Uhh that’s Commerce. We’ve been talking about sub agencies separately. PTO is 100% self funded and probusiness. Very few probationaries were touched including zero examiners. It’s just not the same so stop the fear mongering and enjoy your weekend.

Only the ones within 50 miles of Alexandria or one of the satellite offices. The others (TEAP) will report to another government office within 50 miles (these are being assigned individually and it takes time—PTO must lease space). But yes, by May, everyone not covered by a CBA will be reporting to another federal building 5 days a week.

The CAO charged with RIF plans is being moved to an advisory position and is leaving. Everyone is generally miserable there (I left) and it's sad. It was once a great place to work.

Look, I just left USPTO with the DRP. I still talk regularly with my former colleagues. And I have been able to confirm a lot of what is being said there (both before I left and after). I don't care whehter you believe me or not or what you think of me. So piss off.
