Harris declines to invite Vance for courtesy visit to vice president's residence before inauguration

When JD calls Kamala to ask maybe you’d have a point. But Usha’s counterpart is Doug - and they’ve spoken, so why all the whining?

Omg who cares

We have now lost the whole US to an idiot.

We have lost the aid to Nazi lovers

We have lost the US to Repukes whose only goal in life is to touch your child’s genitalia. If you live in a red state your kid now has to be examined to play sports their genitalia!

Dennis Haslett old Repuke speaker is now suing the cold he taped to pay him back the money he bribed them with.

Republicans the whole party’s goal is to abuse kids and manage your bedroom.

The questions were initially rebuffed by a Harris political appointee. But there has since been communication between the Vance team and Navy aides who oversee the residence.

Good. Her kids are not Harris' problem. And she knows Harris doesn't have kids (but I guess KH needs to be reminded of that)

It’s not up to Kamala to tell her how to child proof a home. Figure it out yourself.

Pences didn’t invite Kamala when she became VP.

It's your standard. You people held yourselves out as the moral compass of America. We never believed it anyway so do whatever you like.

No, you are wrong. It used to be universal standards until you rolled around in the muck. Trump lowered the standards but, still expects others to follow them! We are saying no. But, keep your 'theories' running in your head.

And Melania refused Jill Biden’s traditional invitation for tea at the WH in November, thought to be the first time an incoming first lady has refused the invitation.

And, most important of all, Trump did not attend Biden’s inauguration, which trumps any other slight by a high-ranking politician due to its symbolism of the orderly transfer of power from one administration to another.

Boo hoo. What oh what is she possibly going to do? Military families with little kids move all the time and don't see their home until they get there. Suck it up princess.

Did Melania invite Jill in 2020? Thinking no.

+1

The above can't be said enough in response to this nonsense about the VP not helping two Yale grads figure out how to childproof a house.

Please.

This. Trump is the one that destroyed our transfer of power traditions.

My kids are grown. Childproof a house for kids where the youngest is 3? From the Republican party that is always talking about Liberal snowflakes and making kids soft? The reality is that Usha’s husband deliberately and knowingly used abusive and derogatory language to attack and go after Kamala Harris. Usha knew this, was okay with this, and green lit it. Actions have consequences.

My ex-BIL is a lot like Trump and at some point when they were still together my husband and I made it clear that he was no longer welcome in our home and that we wouldn’t be putting up with the abuse any more “to keep the peace.” Authoritarian, narcissistic, bullying, etc. personalities will take and abuse because they can. They stop when you put appropriate boundaries in place or when actions have consequences. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

I treat people with respect but if you show me disrespect we are done. Look at Karen Pence. Mike Pence is like the bullied/abused person shaking hands with Trump saying please like me again. I’m sure this time you won’t try to kill me. Karen Pence is like you tried to kill my husband and endangered my family. We are done.
