The faculty lineup of most top lacs says otherwise. You do know there’s lac grads who go to top grad schools and return to their home institution right? Or people who just like teaching? |

I do too. |
Curious, where did he/she end up? |
Isn't Chicago the highest ranked and best on your list? How is that considered a target, while Michigan and Georgetown reaches? Both of those are ranked in the mid 20s and known as less rigorous schools. |
Troll. Williams target but Georgetown reach? Makes no sense. |
I like this list. It's coherent and consistent. I hope your DC gets into one of their reaches! |
I agree. That whole list is nonsensical. Chicago and Williams are top schools. |
Do they like it?? I worry it'll be too southern for my DC... |
Brrrrr

I went to a similar school in New England. I hate the cold, but it is conducive to studying since the alternatives in sub zero temps are not very attractive (I am an outdoorsy girl). So I studied a lot and socialized, got top grades, made amazing friends, was offered a great job straight out of college and am successful in my field. It all worked out beautifully, despite my initial apprehensions about the climate, isolation and small size of the school. Oh, and zero of my classes were taught by TAs. SLACs in the Northeast for the win! |
