Trump’s press conference

So Mexico’s gulf coast(1,743 miles) is longer vs the US’s gulf coast(1,680 miles).

Looks like it will stay the Gulf of Mexico.

That’s actually one of the more rational ideas he’s had.

Ok. So how does that benefit me? I live in Ohio. What do I get out of this?

We were promised cheaper groceries, cheaper energy and phenomenal healthcare (or a concept of it).

Instead we get stupid shit like renaming the Gulf of Mexico, imaginary grievances with washing machines (which I'm pretty sure Donald Trump has never in his live even used), and literal tilting at windmills.

He’s going to wrap up the title of the worst Presidential term in history before he’s even sworn in. The Era of Delusional Imaginary Grievances.

Let the sh*tshow begin....

He wants to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and then talked about having to run washing machines 4 times to get things clean. After which he talked about whales dying off of Massachusetts because of wind turbines.

At the end did he shout, "Live from New York. It's Saturday Night Live!"

I love the washing machine advice.

He's not ruling out military force to take back Panama Canal or annexing Greenland. We aren't going to have a single European ally in six months.

Trump has zero idea how to run a washing machine much less where it is located on his property.
Don't forget to mention the US seizing Canada.

Trump is so out of touch wit reality. Thanks maga!

The depths to which Trumpers will descend to justify this man's insane ramblings are just amazing. If your grandfather talked like this you'd commit him to a nursing home.

Why? Why are we threatening our longtime allies denmark, Canada and Panama? What is the point?

Donnie Two Scoops wants attention.

He'll spend all this time on these attention-getting but otherwise worthless moves, because he doesn't have a clue about anything that is actually important. We know this already. It shouldn't come as a surprise.

He is obsessed with 1980’s low flow technology. He seems to be trapped in the past.

Serious question for all the brilliant liberal global strategists on this chain. If the Panamanian government is shivving us on transit, and the Chinese are gaining influence there, why shouldn't the incoming president seek to negotiate a better deal for our country? We paid for it, we never should have given it away. And if we go to war with China, I promise you the PC is going to be one of their first targets given its importance to global trade.

Trump says some crazy shit, but this feels...smart? Even, gasp, good for America?

How exactly is the Panamanian government "shivving" us? And of course the Chinese have an active interest - half the goods transported through the canal come from China.

And no, potentially starting a war does not sound "smart".

Here are some facts about the canal.

Though I have no expectation that Trump supporters will admit that he is an idiot who
Just spreads misinformation in the name of the US.
