No idea if tariffs will happen or not, but it sets up an adversarial relationship with the countries in question. See it for what it is and stop pushing the panic button right out of the gate.

This is what people don’t understand. We’re seeing long term effects of his poor economic policies. Our ag sector hasn’t increased since he tanked it and are still getting handouts. China is foaming at the mouth to take green energy from us now that we elected an incompetent felon, and we’ll be too far behind to catch up. The loss of innovation and isolationism will kill us.

Those visas are only legally for the shirt-term (5 months). They are supposed to leave and return the following year under another seasonal visa. The problem is that they don’t leave.

Walmart US CEO Live now on CBS Mornings talking about tariffs. He says 2/3 of what they sell is made in the US and while there might be a slight increase in some items, they will deal with it accordingly and have dealt with tariffs for last 7 yrs. Nothing new.
