Great point

I’m not missing your point about Kamala but Trump’s felonies were based on the fact that he did Not list the NDA as a campaign expense and they said he should have.

This is the reason why it will be successful on appeal. They turned a Federal FEC violation into a state criminal fraud felony. And 34 of them from one action.

$130k is also above the federal campaign limit. He falsified business records claiming he was paying legal fees, which is false.

Did they? We only know that Trump covered up something which is a felony but we don't what Trump covered up. The underlying crime was never proven.

All you need is intent to commit a crime, which was proven

And the fact that he got Michael Cohen involved in the illegal scheme makes it a conspiracy to commit crime.

I did not know that all of those celebrities were paid to show up and endorse a politician. I truly believed that they were showing up because they believed in the candidate/Harris.

Most celebrities were not paid. It’s a Trumpster narrative. Some small influencers were like brand deals, which they must disclose. The disclosures don’t show a payment to Beyoncé, for example.

Well, there's some BS.

This is really so disgusting it is funny.

So far seems to be a fake news story.

Which is why it will be overturned or dismissed. The underlying crime must actually be something that was charged and convicted.

This. I feel like we as a country should put a limit on campaign spending. A billion dollars is obscene. Half that should be the absolute maximum, indexed for inflation.

I’d bet the appearance fees for each were $2M+. Presumably Swift was also paid millions for her endorsement?

maybe this will end the celebrity endorsements. they didn’t sway me and just ended up annoying me

And Trump's campaign did it with a whole lot less transparency.

Pretty safe to say that anything the RNC and DNC is involved with is a toxic money fueled dysfunctional scam of sorts.

They annoyed me too, but the celebs were the only way Kamala could fill up her events, and I think they all knew that.
