I am against the kind of money in all political campaigns. I wish all campaign events looked like they split a budget with a junior high dance, not the Super Bowl halftime show. But I would like to see real sources.

I’ll take the opposite bet. I doubt anyone was paid to perform or endorse. I believe the campaign managers got sloppy and stupid and snobby with the funds and overspent on the staging and similar.

Wow you are a little high strung? Sorry you never learned how to identify what a credible source is. I'm sure when it meets the standards for Politico they will publish it but right now it's just one of many claims made on social media, and as I am sure you know many of those are false.

Hang tight - even when someone says something TOTALLY BELIEVABLE and on brand for Trump, most of us wait for some verification.

But even if verified - is it that unusual to end a campaign with what in d=context seems to be a little debt?

I mean - she raised $1 billion? and had $118 million left as of October 16 2024?

20 million is 2% of 1 billion. Is it that unusual to end a campaign in debt for about 2% of your total war chest?

Harris's campaign was professionally run and there are no allegations as far as I am aware of event locations not being paid; police and security bills being left to towns to pay; workers being stiffed on paychecks, or any of the things Trump's routinely accused of.

This is an article from 2011 but it seems that it is pretty common for presidential campaigns to end in some debt.
