Ah yes, SYC not comfortable with the players they have and having to recruit from elsewhere to try and be competitive.

What ECNL team doesn’t recruit? Are Arlington players all originally from their u-littles?

Every team in every league recruits.

Unless it's a team some people on this board don't like. Then it is "poached." 🙄

Or you can do a transplant a la Revolution. Basically purchase a spot in a league and buy out your competition’s coach and players cause your homegrown production is essentially trash

How is that working out for them? From a distance, all those GA teams seem to be playing well below where FCV’s teams played year after year before the club blew up.

Cant you say that about the ECNL teams?

Winning in GA isn’t hard.

Its obvious winning in ECNL in VA isnt hard either.but what is obvious in this post is that a 2012 GA team is easily beating ECNL teams....

Did syc easily beat Union?

U13 is the most important age!

It is important that players are being instructed how to play and not relying on kicking it long to one or two big fast players that have grown early.

I think that was part of my point. At U13 it's still an uneven playing field in terms of physical development. Does bragging about wins at this age mean anything?

SYC whooped Arlington...Arlington getting whooped recently seems to be a bit of a trend.

Beach fired their coach for abuse.

I actually thought the beach coach was one of the more sideline behaved we can across this season. Wilmington parents though....

SYC easily beat Arlington

the topic of this thread is pointless if ECNL sheep are losing to GA teams.

Change to 2012 top teams and include MD teams and GA teams for a more complete picture
Anonymous
The GA is just too irrelevant to add in here as a whole. Even if SYC is good now, it will get picked apart.

This is incorrect for 2012 girls. The current standings are:

1. NVA
2. Fairfax Union
3. Richmond
4. Charlotte SA
5. Arlington

But of course they still all have more than half a season to play!
