This says a lot....we get it it's election season you have to go on and on about nothing. |
Right? I didn’t see this kind of protest when the school put on Carrie. It had worse language (swearing), depicted drinking, murder, and witchcraft, yet not a peep from folks. This is a very sweet story about learning about other people beyond a surface level. |
Have you seen it? |
They put on Carrie in the fall. That was not for families with younger kids. Did you get upset about that show as well? It is a HS. They don’t need to cater to families with kids of all ages - only HS when they choose. |
You’re scared of a Tony-award winner musical being put on in your kids HS? |
I’m glad you won’t be attending the show then because you’re being weird and making me uncomfortable with your hatred. |
My kid is in one of the Pippins and I still don't understand what it's about...though they did say the bedroom scene is somewhat dramatic with live drums playing.... |
I am so glad it’s here. I’m a female in a very male dominated field with a gender neutral name, but vastly more associated with females of my generation. It’s annoying to constantly correct people when they address me via email as Sir just because there are more males in my field. Assume much? Listing my pronouns has cut that out by 100%. |
Not PP, but I've seen the movie. It's an ugly SJW piece that could have been written during the heydays of American unions and mid-20th century progressivism. Nothing that would be relevant today. |
I wish everybody used pronouns I work in IT and I have not idea the gender of any of the names I see. |
So sorry sir. |
A Clockwork Orange was critically acclaimed as well - should we show it to students? |
If it has drag, yes |
LOL. Relevant to today? That rules out pretty much every play put on in the HS . . . |
