HS principal and kinky boots

Those that are bothered are mostly opposed to the positive portrayal of drag queens, both in the play and by the principal. They see this an attempt to force sexual topics and attitudes onto school children. For the most part, the play's critics have no idea what it is about other than that it has drag queens.

So? It's his site. If you are bothered by it, don't hang out here.

A principal wearing fetish gear over her jeans still isn't appropriate for school.

I mean, anything's a fetish if that's your jam. Those boots are not my thing, therefore they are not a fetish (to me).

I'm sorry what was the name of the play again?

It's in the adjective describing the boots.

The play that was adapted into a PG-13 movie? Get over yourself and your pearl clutching. Don’t like it? Don’t go to it. It’s that simple.

Literally no one except 5 people here and a handful of right wing blogs are complaining. Read the room.

kink·y
/ˈkiNGkē/
adjective
1.
INFORMAL
involving or given to unusual sexual behavior.

Now what does the dress code say in the SR&R

" or impede or distract from the School Board’s mission of instilling values necessary or appropriate for polite civil discourse or political expression in a school context."

The item of note which is featured on prominantly is an article of fetish clothing. I know people want acceptance, but clothing items assocaited with perverts and prostitutes is where a line should be drawn because those clothes "impede or distract from the School Board’s mission of instilling values necessary or appropriate for polite civil discourse or political expression in a school context."

A principle wearing such clothing, even other jeans does exactly that.

Even if that "5 people here" or the "right wing people" are those who are complaining, this is basically 30% of the families in Fairfax county according to the latest elections, which is a very big number of people.
And the fact that stupid principal (and as it extends, the FCPS leadership as well) blatantly disregard and disrespect those families with more conservative values that theirs is disgraceful. So much for "inclusion".

You are so childish. You don’t get to impose your non mainstream views on others. In Arizona, there is a ban on abortion despite 49% of Arizonans believing abortion should be legal in most cases. You don’t get to do this here in Virginia. If you want to live somewhere where conservatives dictate people’s daily lives with their book bans and other artistic bans like on plays, move there or send your kids to private. I’m so sick of you.

Wait, so the people who are objecting are objecting to something other than the drag queens?

This should help you understand clearly what parents with children at FCPS are objecting to, and why:
