Maybe but some people should not be principals, or even work with children. |
| Is there an update? I love reading about this horrible person's fall. She doesn't GAF about kids and should be a walmart greeter, given her intellect. |
| That's quite a bit of an obnoxious statement. And, if someone's unhappy with a principal, you've got to speak up. Oakridge parents tried and created quite a stir two years ago. And, the principal is still there... |
Similar timing on the ASFS principal. Still there... |
When this person was at the place right before, I did file a complaint with the admin so was shocked to see this happen. But. maybe she got so many complaints she can't go to central office? |
I’m the PP quoted. Agree 1,000%. |
How does one file a complaint? |
Office of School Support Kim Graves and Leona Smith They oversee principals |
thanks! is there some sort of complaint form or process? |
|
| Email or the Let's talk function on the APS website. |
ok when you said you filed a complaint, it sounded like some official process, not just sending an email |
I'm the poster who "filed a complaint". My kid has an IEP which comes with process and protections. Since I had trouble with the principal, I contacted the central office and asked that they not come to an IEP meeting. The person subject to this thread showed up and threatened me. After that meeting, I re-contacted my central office contacts and shared the experience. Since there was a central office person in the room when it happened, it was collaborated. Didn't stop her from ascending...but that's an APS problem, not a me problem. |
| So what (if anything) was the result of your complaint? |
Actually, several administrators had major issues at their schools and were promoted to central office the following school year. They don’t get demoted. They get promoted. |
