He clearly isn’t working. Let the system take its course you evil dreadful people.

The irony is I don't think any of them really even care about him. They see this mainly as a way to get at McKnight who they seem to despise.

I don’t think the teachers, concerned parents and other MCPS employees seeking accountability for McKnight and her team’s failure on the most basic task of keeping schools generally, and subordinate teachers and staffers specifically, safe from serial sexual harassment are the same people complaining about Mcknight’s handling of a snow day. But you do you in your attempt to minimize this and chalk it up to “oh, they complain about everything”

Most of the County Council don't even have children in MCPS. They couldn't care less about snow days. But the 14th largest school system in the country actively promoting known sexual harassers is a major issue.

What has McKnight accomplished during her tenure? What problems has she solved? Is Beidelman still getting paid and on staff? What will be done to fix the handling of these issues in the future?

Yep, they don't care at all about what he may have done. It's all about forcing regime change which is what they wanted long before Biedleman.

People can walk and chew gum. I think people believe Dr. McKnight has done a bad job. Then the Beidleman scandal was exposed and that was both additional confirmation of her leadership failures AND an issue where misbehavior by an administrator was so egregious that it deserves for him to be fired from his job.

Ideally, they both are let go.

Any employer can have a bad employee. When an employer mismanages a situation as badly as MCPS, it’s clear there are organizational and leadership problems. I care a lot more about those because they affect the entire system. People with any management acumen at all realize this and seek to address problems before they become systemic.

I wonder how much support McKnight will have after the IG report corroborates everything Khalid said and shows that she was involved

She will not lose any support. The BOE is happy with how things are going and doesn’t have any respect for the IG.

Presenting a unified front publicly isn’t the same as having a united front behind closed doors.

Either way, I believe every word Khalid Walker says and I knew they were scapegoating him. Good for him for fighting back. Brian Hull has got to go.

bcs she is a substitute teacher for mcps and can no longer publish articles regarding this topic with the Washington Post due to conflict of interest. Probably another disgruntled mcps employee trying to get some shine like the social studies teacher that is over 60k in debt with the federal government just got a divorce and has three kids… Talk about a setup…

all this gossip and innuendo and it turns out there's a conflict of interest...
