What do you think?

"friend" couples? If you were actual friends with them, the sweats wouldn't have bothered you.

Same.

Also, when they arrived I would have said something like, “wow, you guys went all out with your fancy sweatpants tonight!”

Omg EW, no!!!!! What an awful thing to say. And as the HOST. You have no concept of hospitality.

+1.

Wearing sweatpants is one thing, but making a comment about them as a host is truly classless.

I call this “the slobitization of America.” I know is it is a made up word but it seems like people are just slobs lately.

That being said I have been teyibf to buy clothes and it’s hard to buy things other than jeans and sweats. I hate jeans so I am always on the hunt for pointe knit pants.

But I would never wear sweats or workout clothes to dinner.

I think sweats are easier to pull down and get off to get the swinging going.
