Yep. You also don't see the Democrats parading around loudly announcing that they are the party of "family values". They demonstrate it through their policies that actually help families and support the social safety net. It's like the difference between President Biden who attends church weekly and Trump holding the Bible upside down after gassing a bunch of protestors. Getting pregnant at 14 is probably a pretty direct result of her family life. My DD was not having sex at 14. But if she was, it would be very unlikely she’d have had a child at 14. She would likely have wanted an abortion and I would have helped her get a safe one.

This makes me feel really badly for the young Lauren. No, I don’t think her asinine behavior in Congress should get a pass at all. But you can see how she became who she is.

That is really sad. She was maybe having sex at 13??? Now I feel bad because she likely was doomed to turned out the way she did.

I still have no idea why CO republicans could not find a better flag bearer… but there is some serious generational trauma going on in that family.

There’s a correlation between obesity rates and SES, but it’s not an absolute. There are obese wealthy people and waif thin people living in poverty. Boebert isn’t trashy because of her SES. She’s trashy because she’s just a garbage person.

A day after Lauren Boebert apologized for her behavior at a Sunday show of "Beetlejuice" in Denver, Colorado, a conservative conference announced the representative would speak at their upcoming convention.

The Texas Youth Summit, aimed at children and young adults, allows anyone between 12 and 26 to attend for free. The Summit will be held at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott outside of Houston at the end of the month.

update: the Christian Youth Conference disinvited her, but only AFTER the video was made public.
