There are many families like this in both parties. Generational behaviors. |
Colorado-- are we surprised? |
Except members of one particular party habitually condemn others’ behavior and values publicly, then misbehave in private, and have nothing to say about it when one of their own is caught being a hypocrite. |
His father physically abused them so this is nothing in comparison. |
Are you saying that one party condones and approves of such behavior? |
In theory? In public? No. In practice? Absolutely. |
Yes. Jared Polis is a D governor - and seems popular. |
The Dems seem to be better at ousting creeps like this. |
Yep. You also don't see the Democrats parading around loudly announcing that they are the party of "family values". They demonstrate it through their policies that actually help families and support the social safety net. It's like the difference between President Biden who attends church weekly and Trump holding the Bible upside down after gassing a bunch of protestors. The R's are a bunch of hypocrites and rightfully get called out for it. |

I'm reminded of Sir John Gielgud in Arthur:
"One must normally go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of your stature" |
She’s committing Adultery. She can’t even follow the Ten Commandments but she’s the arbiter of what other women do with their own bodies. |
|
It gets even better for "conservative family values"....
