3) increase free student loans/tuition programs
4) institute national mandatory service which could be military, teaching, police, medical, or civilian conservation corp. pick one and give the country at least 2 years of it.

5) Stop making them feel unwelcome and unsupported in the first place. In other words, stop causing the problems we have in the first place, democrats.

You know... like accusing our soldiers of burning Korans in GITMO, working tirelessly to defund the police, blinding the police with lasers and trying to lock them in a police station and burn it down during the summer of 2020 peaceful riots. Or demanding the military get vax'd or be dishonorably discharged or call nurses heroes when it works for you during covid only to villainize them later on. You really are just full of yourselves and judgemental on the sidelines while believing you can throw more money at people to buy off your evil behavior.

Wow this rich coming from the people who genuflects to the man who said anyone who joins the military is a sucker. You are acting like republicans are honorable and respect those who serve. Man you are a loser.

+1
They adore the proud draft-dodger and insult the man with two boys who served - one of whom died due to his service. They’re either a bunch of trolls or awful, ignorant people.

Liberals never join and now conservatives are done with it.

The elite war planners need to lead the way with their children volunteering in combat units. That would be patriotic.

Liberals do join. Two of the top 3 states contributing the most soldiers to the military are blue states: California and New York. Also, before you try and say "yabut it's just the red parts of those states" a huge number of active duty military contributed to the Clinton and Biden campaigns.

Now break it down between combat arms vs pogue jobs.

85% of the military is non-infantry so go ahead and crap all over the service of so many honorable fellow citizens of yours but it just makes it clear that you are an ignorant blow hard. Our military is not divided between liberal/conservative. You are a disgrace to even suggest such an idiotic differentiation.

That 85% exists to support the 15%.

That's just what the grunts like to think.

"You infantry guys might think you're something. In reality you exist just to protect your platoon's fire support officer."

Infantry is all maga. Time to replace them with drones.

There is no way I would join the military or allow any member of my family to if there is a snowball's chance in hell that Republicans could be in power again

Completely understandable. You must hate your children enough to want more endless forever wars.

Now the libs pledge allegiance to the DNC, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and the Harris Corporation.

Makes sense why Dick Cheney supports Kamala now.

Why would you join the military? So you can risk your life for douchebag CEOs who will move your job to India in a heartbeat?

I am married to a liberal retired serviceman. None of the above has anything to do with anything, but keep believing that. Soldiers do commit atrocities. Denying that does not mean it doesn't happen. More destruction was done on Jan 6 than all of the protests combined. Most 2020 protests were very peaceful. Hindsight is 2020. Getting the military vax'd was important because we didn't know. Let's not forget the number of people who died in FL from covid. Who villainized nurses?

They leave out a main factor. Trump has made the rank and file conservatives (who were formerly pro military) anti war and anti woke. Liberals who are pro war now do not join the military and never have. Here we are with proxy WW3 in Europe and China on the move with our military shrinking.

Trump calling service people suckers and losers certainly didn't help.

The leaders of all of those companies are republicans, just like Cheney. Cheney supporting Harris does not make her a neo-con.

Anonymous wrote:In my experience, Liberals love the use of American military power to serve their international agenda. They would like the US to be the world's policeman and righter of wrongs as they see them. The US, in their view, has this responsibility.

Republicans / Conservatives have become much more isolationist. Led by Trump they have increasingly become less interested in these foreign adventurers since they all seem to end so badly.

But Liberals don't like spending money on the military. Our military preparedness / strength continues to decrease. So they are trapped between the two instincts.

Liberals are fine with spending money on the military, and if you look at how the US is supporting its allies, Ukraine and Israel, the template is set. The US can innovate in weaponry and selling arms to our allies spares US blood and bolsters the economy. Win-Win.

I'm guessing you've never served in the military because the military is really big on forcing service members to get vaccinated as out breaks of disease, especially vaccine preventable disease really impacts combat and mission readiness . Interestingly enough, the covid, the vaccine is no longer required. Sam

And you have to have pretty thin skin to be upset that healthcare workers were called heroes when they were working under horrible triage conditions.

I can only speak for education but we've already seen from Teach for America it's not a great ROI to pour a lot of training hours into someone who is only going to stay for 2 years. A lot of people are only just starting to really Master being a great teacher after 3 or 4 years on the job.
