I guarantee Cooke will say that’s NOT the case, that is.

If you cannot even bother to upload grades for an entire quarter, good riddance. If you’re a teacher letting kids screaming out for help languish each and every day, good riddance.

If you’re fearful of parents, reflect upon why that is. If you’re doing a good job — and many teachers are — you should have nothing to fear.

And to the teacher who claimed Cooke left because of parents, you should ask him. I guarantee you he will not say that’s the case.

Actually he was very very clear that he left because of the parents and constant harassment from the community.

And by the way— what’s next. Hopefully the next principal is to their liking

I guess it makes me identifiable but I'll be out. I think the craziest part is Hardy is not only a desirable district MS, but also reminds me of the blue ribbon MS I attended.

Parents often bemoan children's accessibility to tech, when it reality they are the ones who have lost their minds with the easy access to all things school related.

My parents were incredibly engaged and still had no issue with me at a 1000+ person school with fights and drugs and sex bc they trusted me as a human. You all have a lot of reflecting that I hope you do. Your kids certainly will have the time cause they won't see me for a few days now

this is an insane attitude. my MS did not have fights, drugs and sex. It just didn’t.

Parents do not organize to get rid of principals on a whim. That’s not how organizing works.

This is only hurting kids. Parents who feel they are owed something and feel their children are fragile eggs do organize. For years educators and schools have been terrorized by the LuluLemon moms of upper northwest.

Fine go teach at Kelly Miller.

LOL I did and it was fine. I know that's unfathomable to a racist such as you

You’re the one who is moaning about how horrible NW white parents are. So leave. I’m sure you can transfer to a school where you won’t be so persecuted.

None of those people.

But if you're the parent who lives vicariously through your child, well, we already know you are

dude teacher, I think you better go to bed before you dig your hole any deeper. you are not actually helping convince people that Hardy is run by competent educators.

I honestly don't care. I'm a HE teacher who will be making 117k next year at a school that is no longer Hardy bc I don't want to work with kids that are connected to you. Have a great night but I plan on continuing to comment.

Ohhh are you the absolutely bonkerballs teacher at Jefferson? I remember you from the pandemic good times. Put down the wine and go to bed. You aren’t even at Hardy!

We know. That pretty much sums up the whole year. Nobody f’ing cared in that building.

And now the teachers are demanding Hardy keep the 90 minute classes. Listen to their arguments. Plenty of reasons. You know what never is mentioned: the students. Never what is best for them. A reckoning is needed.

“Dig a hole”…..what are the parents going to do - start a petition to get me fired next?

Dude- the teachers of Hardy have nothing to prove to parents on this forum. If your children have actually gone to Hardy and learned from my colleagues (past and present) they already know the spectacular work the teachers have done for your children. Do you know how many Hardy kids are at Banneker, Walls, JR, or other private schools and are absolutely thriving? I’ve lost count.

Teachers are not going to kowtow to parents. Nope.

Dang dude. I think that cranky parent was responding to me and damn if you didn't say it better than me. The fact that they think we answer to them is absolutely hilarious

Cooke 100000% left because of the terrible parents but he is an absolute gem and too professional to admit that to you all.
