So now your just making sht up to deny reality. Gotcha. |
Go ahead and try to articulate the specific mechanics of how that is supposed to work. I am pretty sure that you have not thought that one through. |
http://www.usa.com/rank/us--crime-index--state-rank.htm https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/crime-rate-by-state AK has more crime per capita than CA. |
Kind of like if you don't report covid deaths, the numbers don't look so bad, eh? |
dp.. SFPD doesn't do anything about nonviolent crime so property crime is probably not reported much, and SF has a lot of petty property crime. However, AK has more violent crime, for sure. From a personal safety perspective, SF is safer than AK. |
Actually property crime is still reported by anyone that wants to file an insurance claim. You need a police report. If you don’t want to file an insurance claim or contact the police then how much is that type of crime really costing anyone? |
Alaska is a silly example. Of course, a brutal Siberian wasteland is going to have some dangerous characters. |
Keep on making excuses. I would argue that of course a right wing libertarian oil state populated by evangelicals and military types would have high crime. |
I’m not generally in favor of defunding the police but increasing their funding, which San Francisco has been doing for years, is getting some not so impressive results.

Note the drop from 2019-20 to 2020-21. Drop in funding. Drop in personnel. |
What that table tells me: The more money the cops get, the lazier the cops get. Needs to be fixed. |
Still way up over the decade. |
?? Have they been directed to make fewer arrests? |
Of course not wtf. Where did you get this idea? Right wing propaganda? |
