| Were the usual harpies this upset when Specter switched to the Dem party in 2009? |
The Republicans were upset, yes. And that actually changed the composition of the Senate. What Sinema is doing is more like what Lieberman did. Sinema mocked him at the time. |
| She is done. Republicans and democrats both see an opportunity to pick up a seat. Dems should strip her from all her Committee assignments |
Why? Then we’re back to 50/50 on committees which negates the majority we just won. |
Good thing Schumer is not as stupid as you are. |
Lol it is 50/50 now. She is not a democrat and the republicans do not want her. Word is she was going to become a republicans if Warnock lost but the deal is off now. |
Yes is his the best senate majority leader ever! He is just brilliant…like you. |
No, it’s 51-49 now because Sinema’s office confirmed she’s keeping her committee assignments and will not caucus with the Republicans. And whose “word” is that? |
Tell us more about your fundamental lack of understanding of the Senate! Schumer can only play the hand he has been dealt with Sinema and Manchin since 2020. And yet as a liberal NYer he carved a path of legislative victories which enabled Dems to pickup a midterm seat (thanks in no insignificant part to horrendous MAGA candidates). He got the sausage made and that’s ultimately what matters. There’s not exactly a deep bench for someone else to play his dealmaking role within the caucus. |
Lol sure she will. I am so glad you trust and believe everything she says. She is a woman of her word! She was using Fox talking points as she gave the dems the finger. She will f them over at any opportunity and the moderates like yourself will embrace her. |
Are you OK? I’m not a moderate and I hate Sinema, just reporting the facts as they are at this point. |
How can it be 50/50 when Republicans only have 49 seats? I think your math is off. |
All her cozying up to McTurtle was in vain. |
