Public schools that have to decide for a whole system where some schools, students, teachers, and staff have power and some do not are a lot more difficult to handle than one school, which has not lost power, where the status of teachers and staff can be ascertained relatively quickly. Ok, and? |
For a few hours on a Sunday night? Dramatic much? |
I bet they’re relived that’s a long time to hold your pee! |

But..but… the power’s on at THEIR personal house and the whole world should be catered to them!
|
That’s not how it works. The district makes closing decisions as a district. |
LOL. What a rough life you have, being responsible for your own kids tomorrow. |
I was thinking the same. |

| Why did they close schools since power was restored? |
Because they need to assess the bus centralized system, water, heat and food functionality. Since power came back in the wee hours, there was no staff to flush any brown water, check that the heat coms back on correctly, that the computers still know which bus to send where, and which foods need to be thrown out. |
Russians. Darn it! |
