Everything I have read has said that NV will go R. I also think that PA will go to Fetterman.

Yeah, I'm worried about NV. She was polling well behind.

I have to say that if Ohio or NC were this close without National Democratic Party support, gosh, what could they have done with support.

As a person raised in NC, I have to say, it really is purple. Invest that way and it will pay off.

Didn’t they do that in 2020 and came away with a bruising loss thanks to Cal Cunningham? The amount of money in that race was historic.

But Cheri Beasley has a lot more appeal than Cal Cunningham had.

No she doesn’t? Cunningham was a shoe-in just turns he was a last minute cheater on his wife. Can’t account for October scandals for anyone.

If NV goes R that’s +2 for the Senate GOP assuming WI/AZ and AL/HI and GA/PA cancel each other. Even if the Dems pick an extra one of those they’re still behind 51-49 no tiebreaker…

But AZ is looking blue, and WI is too close to call, as is GA.

Nebraska has voted to raise the minimum wage from $9 to $15 by 2026. Nebraska. People who say progressive policies aren’t popular just want you to stay poor and disempowered.

Due to redistricting. So far, that’s the only way Rs are winning.

This is getting worse and worse for Dr. Oz by the minute. He's underperforming Trump by high single digits in virtually every completed county, and by pretty sizable margins too. If this holds, he genuinely may be the single worst candidate of 2022. Fetterman very clearly favored.

I saw exit poll that PA in person voters had abortion #1 issue, 10 points higher than inflation.

Sorry, but midterms with a Democratic President are EXPECTED to go Republican. The House and Senate are supposed to go red.

So if it's close...

... that means Republicans have under-performed, because of abortion and their 2020 election denial.

And the only reason Democrats have not made history by retaining both chambers, or one, is because of global affairs (war in Ukraine and subsequent inflation). Not one head of state can reverse inflation by themselves. If the US had not lifted a finger, Ukraine would still not be producing grain this year and there would still be energy sanctions imposed on Russia.

We lost but it’s a close loss so we won is a hell of a message.

Historically so far, Dems have way outpaced expectations. Also, we don't know which way things will go when the close races are called.

If Republicans see this as anything other than a major slap down on abortion, they are deluding themselves.

It’s not just abortion, it’s GOP extremism. Abortion is a symptom.

+1 I posted the CBS PA exit poll showing that in the Senate thread. The PA NBC poll was virtually identical. Abortion first, inflation second, crime third, inflation + crime together barely more than abortion.

Nope. Abortion is a real issue that gets women to the polls like no other.

The NY court of appeals decision on gerrymandering may end up deciding control of the house. R states allowed gerrymandering and D states did not.

+1 Republican candidates were very busy trying to hide their abortion extremism and it didn’t work.

Do you honestly feel that Fetterman is truly outrunning Biden?

+1

It's abortion. Not "extremism". Just abortion.
