I would be counted as a woman who registered as a "new voter." This is because I moved to a new state and needed to register. This isnt because I was motivated by Dobbs.

The states that are seeing huge spikes aren’t in places masses as moving to.

Well, then it wont skew the numbers. People are moving from blue states to red and purple states. If the bumps are in blue states, it just means that Ds will get a larger percentage of the vote they will already win.

I moved from a blue state to a purple state and have historically voted D. I guarantee Im considered a reliable D voter in the statistics. But I am not planning on voting D in midterms, with the exception of one race. I dont believe that polls are accurately reflecting people like me, and there are a lot of people like me.

Most women, and plenty of men, are threatened by the Dobbs decision and rightly so. If not for themselves, then for their children.

There are always some who seem to vote against their own best interests, but millions will be pushing back hard against this truly terrible loss of a critical constitutional right this election day

I only know reliable R voters who are crossing over to D this election. I don’t know any reliable D voters moving to R. What are your reasons?

I know a ton of Ds that have switched parties to R. They tell me because I am R. They won’t tell their D friends.

Well duh. They think they are going to get in our daughters reproductive business and they don't want to admit to it. It's not enough for them to make their own decisions, they think they are going to impose their decision making criteria on others

I guess they are self aware enough that they know they should feel shame for voting for the party of treason?

I hope you all enjoy the bad place

To all of these women claiming to be voting for republicans, good luck when you are formally subjugated to second class status.

It's like that R woman who needed an abortion due to medical reasons, had to go to borrow money to go to a different state to get an abortion, and now realizes, abortion access is necessary for all women.

No one ever thinks they need abortion access until they do.

You sound angry at people who aren't voting the way you want and may be causing your candidate to lose.

My candidate is not going to lose. My candidate's opposition is flip flopping as fast and hard as he can on the abortion issue and some other issues but he is will fail. It's a very important issue and the republican running in my state blew it. He will lose.

DP.. I'm angry that people are putting women's/girls' lives at risk because of ... what..exactly? Lower taxes? Inflation?

Nobody thinks they will need an abortion until they do. And what will they do then? Oh, that's right.. move to a blue state that still allows abortion. Well, what would happen if Rs control congress and bans abortion across the country? You'd become an abortion refugee in Canada. And don't say, R congress would never do that. Remember when Rs said SCOTUs would never over turn RvW? Well, here we are.

Selfish. Absolutely selfish.

+1 Although they’re not “selfish” so much as they’re “stupid” with “big main character energy.”
