All of these brain dead republicans are so so close. Like the one who answered the phone at that lawmaker’s office (I think it was posted on one of the larger pro choice threads) and when the pro freedom activist started reporting her peri-menopausal menstrual symptoms, he said that it was a private matter and she should really talk to her doctor.

They know. They just hate women and want to cause us pain.

Really, they should put every abortion case before them. A month of considering “icky” things like brainless babies and bleeding uteruses and maybe they’ll get the hint that it’s a matter best left to women and the trained professionals. But that’s the problem with rich white men- they think they know everything with absolutely no basis whatsoever. It’s like they all stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Moms- we need to do better than raise our men to be as worthless as these jerks.

You’re so close, but then you imply that only women are responsible for rearing the children. Moms and Dads need to do better rearing our kids to be feminists and all around decent people.

I think there are going to be a lot of women who used to vote forced birther when they were protected and knew that they’d have an out if they needed their moral abortion (or to be kinder to them, that there would be outs for really horrific cases); it’s a different game now when ten year old rape victims are going to be forced to birth and a mother of three is going to be forced to die slowly and painfully.

I havent read the entire thread. So not sure if this has been brought up. But a LOT of people moved over the past couple years. And women are more likely to vote, full stop. I would be counted as a woman who registered as a "new voter." This is because I moved to a new state and needed to register. This isnt because I was motivated by Dobbs.

Women and others are very motivated by Dobbs. It's an outrage to strip away critical constitutional rights that were held for almost 50 years. Being very pissed off for very good reason is motivating.

The states that are seeing huge spikes aren’t in places masses as moving to.

It’s part of the same thing. Women don’t move more than men do, but the numbers suggest that women are registering in their new residence right away. College women registering at their school location also figures into this. The point is that women are registering in much higher numbers than men and that mirrors their motivation to vote.

+1

Anyone paying the barest scrap of attention can see that it’s not just (“just”) stripping constitutional rights, it’s a move to enslave women and move them to a permanent second class status. No jobs that men want, no rights, no power, no vote. They’ve talked about this.
