Slug bug! Yes! then you punch your friend in the leg. It was mostly the guys that would punch each other.

HS Class of '89- yes, we did this! Grew up in NoVA. Like another said, to the point of bruising your arm. My mom didn't allow it but my friends' moms did!

We yelled "Punch bug!" and punched our siblings, and sometimes you'd do it with close friends. Totally normal, have no idea how this would be "offensive." |
