100% masking, 100% of the time.

My child has a right to be protected, and that means your child must mask up at school. Period!

That's great!

Selfish and uninformed at best. We will presume you and your child are obese and expect the rest of the population to mitigate your laziness.

You're probably a fat a$$ trying to squeeze into a size 2

Anytime anyone generalizes something like this, I call troll. Or are you seriously telling me you don’t know a single kid with glasses? Or a hearing/speech impediment? Or any that have to wear them during very active sports?

No one is saying your kids can’t wear their masks forever, they certainly can. But mask wearing all day is uncomfortable for some and causes additional difficulties for others. And not developmentally appropriate for years on end. I really struggle with people like you who can’t acknowledge the downsides.

Stop being anti-ASian. Kids in Asian countries have a masking habit and they aren't acting like the brats that you (parents) are being.

I really think this anti mask was started by MAGAites b/c of Islamophobia and now it's caught on to the cute over-priviledged moderate yt liberals in MoCo

Whatever. You can call me a troll all you want. I just don't think mask wearing is all that big of a deal. I've been working with children aged 0-9 since the beginning of the pandemic. Of course those under 2 don't wear masks but I honestly haven't seen anything detrimental due to mask wearing in a group setting. I mean it's not like parents are wearing masks at home. And I work with typically and non-typically developing children with an array of needs including speech and language.

So have I. I coach sports. Almost every day.

I remember in Fall of 2020, at the start of the season, they made our athletes mask up while on the field. Mid way through the season, that policy changed.

When I told my team of the policy change, they cheered, ripped their masks off, threw them onto the ground, and ran onto the field maskless, ready to begin practice.

Kids do care. They do mind. They may just be telling you what they think you want to hear. But they would rather not wear them. Don't kid yourself

Nobody is catching COVID playing a post outdoors. Nobody. We know that Covid doesn’t transmit outdoors.

Misinformation. Kids are not dying of Covid in Montgomery County.

https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/covid19/data/case-counts.html#deaths-age

Zero deaths, still, of kids age 0-18 from Covid.

Mean people at their finest. No wonder kids act like they do. They get it from their parents. Parents should be held accountable for their behavior.

Lol. Sorry. I've coached 4 teams since the start of the pandemic. Not a single case on any my teams.

And parents should be held accountable for the health and well being of their children. Masks are not normal. And a fat 7 year old is the failure of a fat parent. A third of those hospitalized with Covid are fat. Instead of ranting about your mask wearing and demanding others do the same - go for a run with your child. Harder, I know, and you can’t advertise it like your mask wearing, but do it anyway.

Actually mask are NORMAL in a health pandemic. My kids do sports and music in masks. If you want to get rid of covid, be part of the solution. The sooner we can get it under control, the sooner we can drop the masks.

This isn't just about obese and of course 1/3 are overweight as that is our population. That is not a big deal. You don't care about anyone but yourself and yet you preach people are selfish for masking. Your behavior puts all our kids and families at risk so the least you can do is mask your brats.

Ahh yes, if you’re telling them they’re going to die if they take their masks off, that might explain the unquestioned compliance. What sort of setting do you work in exactly? Guessing not an all-day school/childcare situation since you’re posting so much in the middle of the day.
