Trish here. You're fired. You need to start going to meetings and reading your emails.......... |
Or maybe…just maybe…GA directors have children who play too? 😱 |
GA directors/coaches already know. SoCal here, tryout is 4 months away, our U12 pre-GA is already training with our "projected" roster in selected sessions. |
Which club? No Socal GA teams that I know of are doing this. If true Id love to confirm. |
Also tryouts aren't 4 months away for GA who's season starts in July. SOCAL league the youngers and 3rd + 4th team olders league is in 3-4 months. SOCAL has stated that they're moving from BY to SY. |
This is the problem with many of the posts. People dont understand how Southen California soccer works. I'll explain. When players are u6 to u12 all the clubs in LA and San Diego participate in SOCAL league. SOCAL league has multiple regions of clubs and at the end of the season they do State Cup. SOCAL league is year round starting in Feb. Up until u13 all clubs 1st teams participate in SOCAL league. When u12-u13 hits GA/MLSN/ECNL + other leagues start. These leagues are also year round but their season generally starts in July. SOCAL league still exists but its only the 3rd and 4th big club teams for players older then u12-u13. Smaller clubs that dont have GA/MLSN/ECNL play their top teams in SOCAL League after u12--u13 and I believe these teams become NPL. |
U12 pre-GA will be finishing up their season in 4 months, followed immediately by the tryout for U13 GA |
Correct, but this is a grey area. Usually the top players on a SOCAL youngers team become the players for rhe GA team. But clubs still hold u13 GA tryouts in May/June. What this sounds like is SOCAL tryouts which are looking to create SY teams are being confused with GA tryouts. |
Sure, continue to believe in whatever you want to believe. Imagine if the Wall Street people waiting to make their moves after the "official announcements" from companies, they'd all be working at MacDonalds. |
I'm ok with a non official document or statement that proves of disproves but neither of these or an official statement have occurred. You have unsubstantiated rumors and someone saying ask your doc. Why would I need to ask my kids doc wouldn't they already be communicating plans? ![]() |
This isn't wrong - SDSC is holding new age group sessions at least once a month to find out the player pools available after the change. Does that mean a change is coming - not necessarily - but if it does happen they will be ahead of many other clubs choosing to put their heads in the sand. |
Let's see... - SDSC is always looking for players. - SDSC boys play in ECNL This is not the aha moment you think it is. |
It's in a club's best interest to feign stupidity until the last minute to the bulk of the families in the club to avoid mass histeria while lining up the better players with a whisper in the ear to try to make sure they stay. |
That makes no sense. ECNL has already said that they plan to switch from BY to SY. All the top GA trapped players are perfectly aware of which team they can play on if they choose to. |
Is the aha moment that SDSC is leaving GA? |
