Has anyone confirmed if GA is changing to 8/1?
Only that they are moving to age group but not a confirmed date as far as I am aware.
100% not true. GA hasn't said anything about SY.
same moron that trolls any time this is brought up. Most likely just likes messing with all the neurotic parents. As another poster said, this is a done deal for GA. Just ask your DOC. It has been discussed multiple times with GA DOC’s. At the annual meeting, during the town hall and now it is on the admin portal on the GA website. The only thing unclear is if it will be 8-1 but most think it will be.
Post all the documents that you say exist.
Maybe you didnt hear all the posters before you………ASK YOUR GA DOC………unless you are not even in GA, which is probably pretty likely. Note how literally EVERYONE but you already knows this. If you need to know who your DOC is just tell us all your club, you can still stay anonymous but that will finally make you put up or shut up.
GA director here. You’re full of it. Likely the same person pretending to be more than one.
GA director monitoring internet forums for BY/SY gossips . LOL
Or maybe…just maybe…GA directors have children who play too? 😱
GA directors/coaches already know. SoCal here, tryout is 4 months away, our U12 pre-GA is already training with our "projected" roster in selected sessions.
Also tryouts aren't 4 months away for GA who's season starts in July. SOCAL league the youngers and 3rd + 4th team olders league is in 3-4 months. SOCAL has stated that they're moving from BY to SY.
This is the problem with many of the posts. People dont understand how Southen California soccer works. I'll explain. When players are u6 to u12 all the clubs in LA and San Diego participate in SOCAL league. SOCAL league has multiple regions of clubs and at the end of the season they do State Cup. SOCAL league is year round starting in Feb. Up until u13 all clubs 1st teams participate in SOCAL league. When u12-u13 hits GA/MLSN/ECNL + other leagues start. These leagues are also year round but their season generally starts in July. SOCAL league still exists but its only the 3rd and 4th big club teams for players older then u12-u13. Smaller clubs that dont have GA/MLSN/ECNL play their top teams in SOCAL League after u12--u13 and I believe these teams become NPL.
