The defendant who first moved for Ms. Willis’s disqualification, Michael Roman, contends that the affair predates the charging. In a filing, his lawyer, Ashleigh Merchant, calls Ms. Willis’s proffered timeline “false” and suggests that the relationship stretches as far back as 2019. During the campaign, some of the donor.'s supposedly gave the maximum amount hundreds of times or even thousands of times according to the election/campaign records that were reviewed and some donors' listed addresses are vacant lots or even other states.

Regarding the witnesses that have evidence that the affair began before Wade was hired........

Interesting that some of the defendants in the GA case are charged with making false statements and filing false documents.
If these witnesses can prove that Willis and Wade lied on their affidavit..... the irony will be rich.

'Smurfing' is a money-laundering technique that involves the structuring of large amounts of cash into multiple small transactions. This is done in order to conceal the source of the money.
