IRS Whistleblowers and Devon Archer - House Oversight

Anonymous
So does anyone on the right want to revisit the whole "weaponization of government" and who was, you know, actually weaponizing government?

Durham, Weiss, Barr, Hur - all literally weaponizing against the Bidens. For 6+ years, in COLLUSION with the Russians.

Hunter Biden seeks full dismissal

Frankly, I am not sure there is a reason this wouldn't be granted.

Idiotic. Trump associate Lev Parnas has already come forward to say Trump's attempts to show Biden corruption in Ukraine were manufactured by Giuliani and himself.

Lev Parnas..... the proven liar.

Yes, that's the whole thing. Lev Parnas was Trump and Giuliani's liar. The FD-1023 is based on a lie told by Lev Parnas.

But now the Republicans are treating that lie as if it were the truth because it's on an FD-1023 form.

Witness Jason Galanis testifies Hunter Biden put his father, then-VP Joe Biden, on speakerphone with Russian oligarch

“…Galanis testified that call was "not the only time" he heard Hunter "call his father regarding business matters," pointing to a separate call in which Hunter Biden put his father "on speaker." Galanis said Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina and her husband, the former mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, were present for the call, which took place May 4, 2014.

"Hunter called his father, said hello and ‘hold on, Pops,’ then put the call on speakerphone and said, ‘I am here with our friends I told you were coming to town, and we wanted to say hello,’" Galanis recalled. "The vice president said hello and some pleasantries of ‘Hope you had safe travels,’ and then seemed like he wanted to bring the call to an end by saying, ‘OK then, you be good to my boy.’"

Galanis said Hunter responded by saying, "Everything is good, and we are moving ahead."

"The vice president said something about ‘being helpful,’ and Hunter ended the call by saying that he was going to call his father later," Galanis testified. "I recall being stunned by this call — to actually hear the vice president of the United States speaking on the phone."

“Galanis testified that "it was clear" to him that "this was a pre-arranged call with his father meant to impress the Russian investors that Hunter had access to his father and all the power and prestige of his position."

“Days later, on May 9, 2014, Archer sent Galanis an email, obtained by Fox News Digital, which revealed Baturina was "committed to a ‘hard order’ of $10-20 million in a Burnham investment banking client.”

Galanis says he offered to provide prosecutors
at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern
District of New York evidence of the alleged involvement of Hunter Biden and Devon Archer in the Burnham fraud.
"The offer was rejected… My attorney at the time told me the rejection was highly irregular... because I was not asking for any reduction in the charges or sentence."
Galanis is serving 14 years in jail after pleading guilty to securities fraud over $60 million in fraudulent bonds for a tribal entity in South Dakota. Archer has been sentenced to a year's jail and two other Burnham Financial Group executives were convicted over the scheme.
Hunter was vice chairman of Burnham and earned up to $200,000, but he was deemed not to have been involved and was not charged. Archer was not asked one question about Hunter by SDNY prosecutors.
Galanis makes serious allegations in his testimony: "I realized the prosecutors in the SDNY had gone lightly on Devon Archer and had not indicted
Hunter Biden at all, despite then-available
documentation that we were partners... I believe the SDNY’s prosecution strategy was intended to protect Hunter Biden, and ultimately Vice President Biden."

On June 9, 2023, the Bureau of Prisons in California approved Galanis to serve the rest of his sentence in home confinement. On June 13, one day after the House Oversight Committee announced it would subpoena Devon Archer, Galanis home confinement approval was reversed.
"I understand from a former high-ranking Bureau of Prison official that SDNY prosecutors aggressively weighed in with the Bureau of Prisons staff to oppose my release. As a result of this DOJ intervention, I was denied home confinement," Galanis testified today /3

So desperate!

Give it up, guys. Maybe think about a budget or a CR instead of more fantasies. If you can remember what your job actually is.

Still nothing. It is still easily proven that Shokin was not investigating Burisma. Shokin was fired by the Ukraine Parliament because he was corrupt and because the IMF demanded it. It wasn’t because of VP Biden or Burisma.

Baturina lived in London and invested in New York real estate through Hunter’s partner. No US government policy was involved. No action by Biden was involved. There is nothing there.

The underlying premises of the allegations are all bullshit.

Another GOP "Star Witness" Tony Bobulinski - his story is starting to show cracks and is falling apart. People are stepping forward to refute Bobulinski and Bobulinski is trying to lash out, calling them "liars" except now it's looking more and more like Bobulinski is the liar and is on the take. Cassidy Hutchinson for example brought receipts - and PHOTOS to back up her account of secret meetings between Bobulinski and Meadows and exchanging of envelopes. https://abcnews.go.com/US/trump-white-house-aide-cassidy-hutchinson-pushes-back/story?id=107465387

Tony Bobulinski is taking the fight to Cassidy Hutchinson. A statement from his attorney
@jbinnall
reads as follows:

We will see to it that Ms. Hutchinson soon gets her day in court to tell her story under oath in front of a jury. We are confident that when the facts are clearly presented, the truth will prevail. When Ms. Hutchinson loses - which we believe should happen quickly - Mr. Bobulinski looks forward to donating the money judgment, which should include the profit she gained from her book and media appearances, to a children’s hospital in need.

Tony Bobulinski's counsel delivers a letter calling for Cassidy Hutchinson to hold and preserve records in connection with a coming defamation suit against her.

The letter notes in part:

your client told a far-fetched tale that, when Mr. Bobulinski met with Mark Meadows in Rome, Georgia, at a Trump Campaign rally, Mr. Meadows, under suspicious circumstances, handed Mr. Bobulinski, “...what appeared to be a folded sheet of paper or a small envelope.” This is a bald-faced lie. No such exchange occurred; however, Ms. Hutchinson intended her statement to sensationalize and associate a defamatory implication that some type of unethical conduct occurred. Further, Ms. Hutchinson’s commentary on the meeting, which was simply an exchange of pleasantries during which no business or political discussions took place, associated a defamatory implication that the meeting involved nefarious dealings.
