What have you bought that was worth every cent?

For DS, a good quality high chair rather than a cheaper plastic one that he has at my mom's. For me, a LV zippy wallet - stupidly expensive for a wallet but a nice treat.

Portable generator. We FINALLY broke down and used it with the storms a couple weeks ago (we lose power a lot but have held off with past power outages). We were able to run our fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and more importantly, I was able to blow dry my hair before going to work! Now that we've used it once, I don't feel so worried about losing power in the future.

Hanna Andersson clothing for our daughter. Cute styles, and they wash and wash and wash well. We have a vastly smaller wadrobe now for her because it all wears so well.

jacuzi. eased the migraines, neck aches and revived our sex life.

I agree with the Hannah clothing and that they last a long time size wise so you can actually get multiple seasons out of them.

But my personal is our video monitor. I hesitated but it was worth every dime!

The BOB stroller. Keeps DS happy and me healthier, since there is no reason not to take him out for a run!

the Phil and Ted double for my 3 year old and infant. Lots of wonderful walks with the two of them peacefully napping.

ipod nano with an audible subscription. Lots of audio books for nursing!

I don't know if "bought" is the right phrase, but last year we adopted a three year old terrier mix. He is the darling of the house with my two boys, and walking him has contributed to everyone's overall health and fitness. Really, best "investment" we ever made.

Anywhere chair from Pottery Barn for Kids. We've used it every single day since we bought it - four years ago! Just had to get a new cover for it...

Dutailier and ottoman. During the first year, that chair got so much use. Not just from me when I was nursing, but just about everyone who wanted a comfy place to sit and rock the baby.
