But it’s a one in 10 million chance that you end up with a long-term, lucrative and successful career, and for Taylor’s level of success it’s more like one in a billion.

By Taylor’s own admission, mom is her therapist and matchmaker and according to many, Dad is still stepping in to solve her business and legal problems.

I don’t think her fans are remotely able to be objective about her. You “guys” are too stuck in Taylor worship to think that she isn’t solely responsible for her success. You are willing to insult people who point out inconsistencies in your theories and willing to defend capitalism to keep you from questioning your beliefs about her.

These people sound young or maybe they are bots. Either way, they sound quite taken w Taylor and very defensive and can’t look at the situation with objectivity.

It’s interesting to see how quickly some of them resort to insults and it’s like how the president acts when someone does not agree with him. He resorts to insults, which is a weak attempt at argument.

TS writes all of her own songs herself OR with a co-writing partner. She always, always credits these cowriters. That you don't understand this fact only reflects poorly on you. Do you really think she would have been inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame if she didn't write her own songs?

I listened to her work sessions with her producers. She can’t sing and has terrible ideas. They tried to steer her away from her terrible ideas, but she thinks she has all the answers. Hence, the horrible TLOASG was born.

If not for modern tech and the artistry of sound engineers, more people would realize she is terrible. And her piano magically plays itself when it rains. Lol.

A lot of songwriters can’t necessarily play instruments. Like Mariah Carey cannot. But the fact that Taylor cannot sing is very true. That clip of her singing “I did something bad” to Blake that came out in that trial was honestly shockingly bad.

Fair enough. I think Billie and Adele both do not play instruments. But their singing voices are absolutely the top.
