Big surprise, the outrage was manufactured for no reason but political power.

And, little surprise, the Republicans who realize that their party is lost to the wolves are still trying to make the party normal. So you realize that your party made it all up and not only that but they’re not interested in the truth. Why would you stay in a party like that? “Critical race theory” and “specializing students” aren’t the only things the GOP has invented.

Wouldn't you think that the time to look at the curriculum and its "indoctrination" is before one rails against it, and not after you've run on it?

I guess personally I never considered defecation and elementary level book jokes about the same to be sexual but I guess now we know what kind of play this person is into and that she seems to find children’s books with scatological humor to be sexual.

Maybe this person needs to be kept a minimum of 500 feet from all schools. Cause yikes.

These same teens have unfiltered 24/7 access to the internet where they can view actual pornography and we’re clutching pearls because they might read … Judy Blume? The 80s, indeed.

And it's coming to all red states

VA just added itself to the list of the dumbing down of its schools. Youngkin will do this asap.

The religious right is taking hold and god help us all particularly women.

Punching women- books describing punching women in the face, locking them in the closet: those need to be in the school library, right PP? Those are the books?

It oppresses women if we don’t give our kids access to graphic descriptions of violence against women: that is what you are saying, isn’t it PP?

You are an idiot.

These books everyone should read.

Who are you to tell anyone else what books kids should read for their education? You don't want your kid to read them private school.

And who gets to decide those books the religious right? NO

I think it was Aldous Huxley who said, “First they come for your How-to-Masturbate manuals. Then they come for your How-to-Give-a-Proper-BJ PowerPoints. And the next thing you know, you’ve got a whole generation that doesn’t know a Daisy Chain from a Spit Roast.” It’s chilling.

The post from 06/13/2025 00:26 literally states that one of the books being removed is Forever, by Judy Blume.

Is that enough of a clue?
