The rest of us don’t need pew-pews and boom-booms to feel powerful and grown up, but you do you.

Little dictator needs to play with his big scary toys.

Stephen Miller, the man's man.

Right, the bald guy whose wife is hanging out with Elon while he's crying in the White House. Real masculine.

I'd love to go, but there will be too many liberal nutjobs to enjoy it. I'll stay home and watch on TV.

New poll says:

Most Americans (76%) oppose spending $45 million to hold a large parade of soldiers, weapons, and combat vehicles on the streets of Washington, D.C., in celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday and President Trump’s birthday, including 48% who strongly oppose, compared with only 21% who are in favor.

Solid majorities of Democrats (93%) and independents (80%) oppose the military parade, as well as a slim majority of Republicans (52%). Even among Americans who hold favorable views of Trump, a slim majority opposes this event (52%).

That’s good to know!

I feel sick for the Army and Army vets. I would have gone to honor my gramps and uncles who served. But it’s a pass for me. I only see this as a salute to Don the Mafia King. Such a pity. I hope it is thunderings and lightning all day Saturday.

This.

I always honor active and retired military, all services. But not this time.

Well. You can’t be telling people they need to tighten their belts and be patient for the economic pain and that there needs to be cuts to government services because we can’t afford them and do something like this.

What is Trump going to do for the Navy and Marines who also have anniversaries later this year. Trump is such a megalomaniac.

We’re going to have a big, beautiful parade.
And we’re going to do it very strongly.
It’s going to show strength. And a lot of it.

It’s going to show a lot of strength.

The media should not televise it. He hates them so why bother? Hope not many people show up

Congressional GOPers have other plans and won't attend the emperor's self aggrandizing parade

I would rather that money have been spent on a smaller event to honor the army and have the rest go to support the VA and veterans.

But what do I know, I'm a "lib."

Anyone who goes should take flowers and lay them at the feet of any troops or guardsmen that are there

Not just for cheap rooms either, there's tons of availability across the price spectrum and rooms are pretty steeply discounted compared to average in mid June. Not a good sign for Trump.

Other than the minimal amounts it will take to repair the roads, this money would never be saved or spent elsewhere. It would always be spent by the DOD.

And that $45 million is entirely a guess.

I know us "libs" are so annoying for caring about humans.

DOGE missed this event BIG time.

Cutting non-essential spending, frivolous things, entire Departments being erased, countless jobs lost, hiring freezes…

Yet $45 million for the Dictator’s Birthday parade with big tanks ruining roads,,,,

What kind of narcissist needs a big bday parade????
