No, where did he say this?

NP. Jim Holt's Facebook page. On a post today where Jim advocated not voting for Jim Bob. All the knives are coming out.

Derick’s comment: “It’s sad that this isn’t an isolated incident. I used to have much respect for Jim Bob, as my father-in-law, and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt for years. Unfortunately, it’s only become clearer to us over time just how deep this man’s manipulation and deceit will go for his own gain, at the expense of others. He has lied to my wife and I numerous times. Contrary to his campaign, he does not believe in freedom, but his manipulation has resulted in what is akin to human trafficking. When confronted privately, he is not humble, but he is defensive and verbally abusive. When he says he cannot be bought, the truth is that he has a history of being a sellout to anything that he can personally profit from, and he will justify it however he wants to continue his personal agenda. Again, if he has lied and continues to lie to his best friends and his own family, will he LIE to YOU?!”

It’s still weird to me that even 456 people looked at their whole cult lifestyle, the molestation charges against Josh that Jim Bob basically did nothing about, everything and decided that he was worth their vote.

GO DERRICK!!

No joke - I think Derrick’s journey is going to take him from conservative christian to LBGT+ supporting, community-food-garden Christian over the next decade.

I am truly glad Jill has this gem of a husband. according to the AMA, their relationship is real and he genuinely loves her. and she loves him. they are good people, even if he didn't agree with them politically.

and to the pp above - regarding his transformation, I believe it too! it's like they didn't know any different in the past. now they are open to a whole different world and experiences!

I think these are politically and religiously aligned voters who think the charges are fake that this is yet another example of the feds trying to take down good God-fearing Americans.

Agreed!
Embarrassed to admit I watched their relationship unfold on the show. It was the only one that seemed decent to me. I've been pretty happy to see where they've landed.

Maybe - I think its more likely they're just friends of the family who voted for their pal JB.

Or they don't follow any of this closely, or at all, and just voted based on name recognition.

I hope so, but he's got a lot of work to do in that department.

What a great profile in courage. Derrick only speaks up when the Duggar’s fortunes turned.

Well, his “Duggar” wife uses birth control. gets haircuts, wears pants, has a tattoo, and has drank alcohol. I’d say change is possible.
