If you read the Enabling Act of 1933, then read the last two SCOTUS decisions that essentially put the president above the law and crumble the "administrative state" and then read Project 2025, you can see exact parallels.

It may be Godwin's Law, but it is also factual.

Trump used a lot of Heritage Foundation policy recommendations the first time around. It's reasonable to assume he will use some of them again, whether they're included in Project 25 or come is some other form.

Project 25 is not just a collection of policy recommendations. One of Trump's closest former aides and staunchest loyalists is in charge of running one of the four parts of Project 2025: the Presidential Personnel database. The database actively collects resumes from right-wing candidates who have been prescreened to show willingness to be loyal to Trump. Who really believes that Trump is going to ignore that database if he comes to power again?

Because private schools are not required to comply with federal regulations.

Because private schools are not required to comply with federal regulations.

So a de facto draft for public schools and another tool to beat families into putting their kids in private schools.
