![]() History speaks for itself. In 2016, Trump used Heritage Foundation for his Transition Team and rubberstamped 2/3rds of the Heritage Foundation's plan. And now he claims to not know anything about them. |
Yes. |
Thank you for posting this. Naturally, the posters who keep falsely insisting this is Trump’s platform will throw their usual tantrums of denial. Here is his actual platform: https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/2024-republican-party-platform |
+100 This whole thread is a joke of LWNJs desperately using anything they hope will stick, regardless of whether it’s true or not. They’re assuming no one will call out their lies. Project 2025 is not Trump’s agenda, but they sure seem to want it to be. DP |
1) Nobody said that Project 24 is THE ONE AND ONLY platform of Donald Trump. We are suggesting that he may borrow from/be influenced by this Heritage Foundation product (among whose writers are many people who formerly worked for him) as he did/was during his first administration. 2) Your link is not the primary link. Don't be lazy--do your homework better. THIS is the primary link to Trump's website and features his "President Trump’s 20 CORE PROMISES TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" and a link to the 2024 GOP Platform. In fact, feel free to list out the 20 core promises and we can discuss them as adults. https://www.donaldjtrump.com/platform |
Here's a transcript of Trump praising the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025, where he specifically says "And they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do". So, is Trump either lying and trying to deflect with this non-specific thing he is calling his platform, or he can't remember what he actually said about Project 2025. Neither is a good look and doesn't hide that Trump isn't pushing Project 2025. |
^^^^ hasn't read Project 2025 or doesn't care. Sad. |
Happy. I’ve read every page of it, which is why it’s obvious when people like you claim things are in it that are not (i.e. lie). I also know that it isn’t even Trump’s agenda at all, just something liberals are using like a sledgehammer to fear monger, as usual. It would be entertaining if it wasn’t just so pathetically desperate. Here is his actual agenda: https://rncplatform.donaldjtrump.com/ |
What's deperate and pathetic is Maga's sad little attempt to draw separation from Project 2025, because it's getting so much backlash. Like fetch, stopping trying to make this make-believe platform happen. |
It's hilarious - that "platform" page is so new, that archive.org hasn't even been able to index it yet. They had to scramble to get something posted to try and get out from under the 2025 backlash. |
+1. Trump has been planning to run again for years. Why was this just created? If he had an actual platform, it would have been out a long time ago. |
Yep. Ben Shapiro nailed it: "I haven't looked all that deeply at Project 2025, but it seems that Democrats are sort of like Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. If they say Project 2025, enough, their presidential candidate becomes alive again." |
Why don't one of you MAGAs (apologies if you're not one) post the GOP's 20-item list of "promises" so that we can peruse them? Instead of whining about Dem's highlighting of Project 2025, why don't you start a thread showcasing the 20 promises that Trump is making Americans in the GOP platform? Have you even read the platform? Surely you must be proud of it and want to share it widely. It sounds very authentically Trumpian and has been simplified for a general audience. Feel free to share! |
