Fairfax County Double Murder

I wish this were moving along quicker but it could be years. As many of us say this case is made for Dateline but last night’s DL episode dealt with a case from Connecticut that began in 2019.

Is the next court date in April?

Yes. It could also slip as the prior one did.

I wonder what BB does all day? If not on paid leave, how is he paying the bills? Neighbors, any thoughts?

Maybe he had a lot of life insurance $ come in. I'd be curious about when any policy was purchased, if so.

Not sure they release $ during an open investigation?

If she does not flip on BB, FF will get lesser convictions than had been hoped for. She will serve time and then be deported. I don't see how that life together will ever take place, but maybe I am missing something? I don't see him being able to go back to a life in LE?

No idea how any of this is working financially with the loss of Christine's income and him not working + the expense of lawyers for both.

I wondered. Not sure where all the $ is coming from? Mortgage, lawyers, etc. He has been on leave for almost 6 months now?

If she is convicted, is there any way that she would be able to stay in US? Assume she would be deported but any lawyers in thread who know?

I'm still struck by fact he did not marry her in the intervening months. Wonder what she makes of that?

They'll get married when she is acquitted. At least that's what he's likely telling her.

BB is most likely getting still getting paid from the IRS.

He is upper-middle class, he can easily afford attorney fees if he's paying them.

FCPD has screwed this case up. I don't think the husband did anything, they just jumped to conclusions.

JR looks like a very unstable dude. Have you looked at his Facebook? He's posting about how "He's a very tough guy" at 30. His education is listed as "Neck Snapping at Harvard University" One of his previous colleagues also posted that he was a very angry guy and that he wasn't surprised how he went.
