Not what I'm seeing at my club. I'm seeing some who want to, based on being on the team forever AND others wanting to play on age because the chance to get before 100 scouts vs. 5 at showcases. Whether the club indulges either is yet to be seen BUT this is good they can do either, because that's what individuals may need.

Funny how older kids playing down seems to work out for some. The younger players that are getting screwed unfortunately don't say anything.

Younger players benefit from getting these more experienced players on their team, if they can hang. It'll make them better than they otherwise would be.

Those are not older players. They are players where were lucky enough to play up for a long time. Deal with it.

OK, then give up, I guess? There's a new age range. The best players will play on the top teams. Plenty of opportunity for those who seek it.

They played on age and they survived the affects of RAE, meaning they're good players and this is a chance to definitely stand out as they take their turn as being the oldest in the group.

Just an FYI Aug-Dec birthdays will need to play up in MLSN2, ECNL, + other SY leagues if they want to be considered for MLSN1 BY. If they dont Aug-Dec SY players will be playing level down if they are ever planning to play in MLSN1 BY.

Also, if Aug-Dec SY players dont play up when they switch over to MLSN1 BY they'll be playing against biobanders 3 levels above them.

Young Aug players will have to play with their grade not down with a younger team if they want to get recruited and play for a BY MLSN HG team.
