not always. my mother in law was just diagnosed at age 70 after a manic episode. spent one month in mental institution. |
The photo, which is still posted to their Instagram, included a caption that read "[camera emoji] 2024." This is Instagram parlance for "this photo was taken in 2024." It is not ambiguous. That's what that means. It did not say "Happy Mother's Day 2024" or have #mothersday2024. It had a caption identifying it as a photo taken in 2024. Notably, they rarely identify the year a photo was taken in their posts. They often identify the photographer, but not the date. They were making an effort to convince people that this was a recent photo of Kate and the kids, which is (1) unnecessary, they are not required to post a recent photo of her, and (2) weird because it was a five month old photo that was badly photoshopped for some reason. This was not a misunderstanding or misinterpretation. This was an effort to pass a doctored old photo as a recent photo to silence rumours, and it blew up spectacularly. This is their own fault. |
Naw, that’s not actually what he said. When confronted, Coren said he didn’t start the rumor. And he didn’t. Dan Wootton first insinuated a falling out between Kate and Rose and that’s the real starting point. Giles Coren was just riffing off of things others posted. Sorry! |
But bipolar may be diagnosed at much later ages. Like my ex, who got his diagnoses in his late 50s. Before that it was just a wild ride of depression and awful financial decisions that we shook our heads about. That said, I don't think for even a second that she's bipolar. |
| 113 pages all over a tummy tuck. |
| They are talking about it on NPR now |
But we have to assume KP set up the pap, because otherwise the British press haven't been publishing anything on her. So why wouldn't she cooperate? She already agreed to ride in a car with William to their two separate engagements/appointments. Why not seal the deal with a full-face picture, no need even to smile at her husband, just show us she's recovering? |
Pretty sad you do t see how detrimental it can be for parents in an unhappy marriage to stay together. If it's starting to affect then it's 1000% morw beneficial for them to separate. |
| Twitter is a buzz about a Lady Rose Hanbury - William's AP. |
She's the last person to need a tummy tuck |
There would be a revolution if they tried to pull that off, French-style. |
They could have used an old photo and not photoshopped it or claimed it was recent. If people didn't like it, they could have their supporters point out they often post older photos to commemorate holidays and remind people they said Kate would be out of the public eye until after Easter. Hold the line. If they really felt the need to post a current photo, they could have taken a photo but used artistry to protect Catherine's privacy. A photo from a distance, a photo of her with the kids artistically backlit, etc. think of when new parents post photos of new babies. Sometimes people post close ups of their hands holding the baby's hands, and one reason for this is that a lot of new moms don't want photos of themselves right after birth. The idea that their only option was to doctor an old photo and claim it was a new photo is crazy. |
Bargaining chip. She's not going to fully cooperate until she gets what she's gunning for. |
Which is? |
| Maybe the person who photoshopped it did it as a call for help |
