Could have gone either way. |
Eaglestix is either rusty or peaked in the Fall season. They come back up again for Genesis Origins. Maybe they have a better showing then. |
But it didn’t, they had 3 wins and 1 tie in the toughest bracket. They earned their ranking. |
They tied, so yes. It went either way lol |
And MDU also had a loss, so YJ won their bracket and had the best outcome in the toughest bracket for the weekend. |
They did, and they are from Long Island with three teams in that age group that they pull up or push down based on the outcome of the tournament. You think those kids aren’t playing for their lives? |
YJ moves girls from from their 3 club teams in the middle of the season? Sounds like chaos. |
They are the #1 ranked team at this age for a reason. They don’t look like chaos! I have no idea if they are moving girls around but I have no doubt they are extremely competitive. |
They were extremely physical. |
They are playing to stay on the team for the next week, so makes sense |
They were playing to win and maintain their #1 national ranking, sorry no one beats them but maybe we could just say something positive about the best team in our age group and their success. I have no affiliation with YJ, however my daughter watched one of their games and has spent the last few days talking about how she could up her game. Isn’t this a good thing? |
I refuse to believe YJ moves girls up and down right after a tournament. That can't be good for morale and team building. |
YJ and MDU are in the same pool at L4TC this weekend so we will see a rematch.
The idea that no one can beat YJ is wrong in my opinion. They have 3 ties this year. If they can be tied, they can be beat. |
Of course, on any given day a top 5 team could beat another. But so far they have the best ranking for a reason with zero losses and the narrative that it’s only because they haven’t played MD teams isn’t holding up. |
YJ plays some of Marylands best teams this weekend. MDU is the only team that poses a threat to them in that pool. |
