Nearly all clubs have equal or close to equal PT in HS, no one is riding the bench.

Hmm not sure if this is true. Some clubs do equal PT. Dont think Heros, Mnd, Cop, or MDU do it.

I can tell you they do. In HS.

You all have no idea what you’re talking about.

Most teams have equal playing time for showcases. But for bracketed tournaments, they are playing the starters with only a few chances for the subs.

Depends on the team, of course. But it would be crazy for some starters to split equal playing time with the subs who are noticeably not as good.

Go talk to HS parents. Now in a short half game playoff, maybe you won’t see 50%, but that is rare cases.

No one in high school is on the bench

HS club is very different than youth. Most tournaments are not bracket play and the goal is recruitment, not winning games.

The only major tournaments that have bracket play in HS are LFTC and MidAtlantic and MidAtlantic only does it for rising 9th and 10th, not rising 11th and 12 (the recruitable ages).

YJ Babst and Eagle Stix are coming to town this weekend. MDU gets it's shot of taking #1 overall in the rankings. Lots of good games this weekend.

YJ may be #1 but there is not much on their games played that suggest that.

MDU got hurt having to play “weak” ngll region winners.

YJ going down

YJ beat Hero’s 8-2 today and NXT 11-5. We watched part of the Hero’s game and YJ was dominant, they were up 6-0 at the half. It seems they’ve earned their ranking.

There are obviously games to play tomorrow. HG looked shell shocked though. I’m not sure they’ve ever been down 6-0 at half time.

Amazing weekend in the top bracket for this age group with some of the best teams around battling it out. Got to watch some of a few games today, including a hard fought tie game between YJ and MDU. The big winners of the weekend were clearly YJ.
YJ went 3-0-1 (tie with MDU; wins against ES, NXT and HG)
HG went 3-1-0 (wins over ES and NXT; loss to YJ)
MDU went 2-1-1 (tie with YJ, loss to NXT)
NXT went 1-2-1 (win over MDU)
T91 went 0-2-2 in a tough bracket with big boys (ties against NXT and ES)
ES went 0-3-1 (one goal loss to YJ)

They’ll be fine. They almost beat the top team. It was a rough slate of games. That’s summer tournaments in the top bracket.
